If you need to prevent users from making changes to registrations, you can use this date lock. Setting the date lock will prevent users from making any changes to data prior to the selected date (inclusive).
If you for example would like to close last year so your employees can nolonger change in the previous year, you can set the date to the last day of the last year like so, and the users in the sysem will no longer be able to make changes up until the date set.
